Chief Executive Officer
Neil Leibman is responsible for the overall leadership and vision for the company.
Previously he served as Chairman and CEO of Aspen Pipeline LP I and II, a private equity firm (Energy Spectrum of Dallas)
backed limited partnership, which owns and operates gas gathering systems, and transportation pipelines. Aspen owns and
operates one of the largest open loop biomass electricity generation facilities in the State of Texas. In addition he was CEO
of two private Retail Electric Providers serving the northeast markets.
Neil is the former CEO of Gexa Corp. (NASDAQ: GEXA) a Houston based retail electricity provider, which he founded and sold to
FPL Group, Inc. (NYSE:FPL) in June of 2005. He assisted in the transition as President of the combined entity. Prior to founding Gexa Corp,
he practiced law in a partnership of Leibman & Oesch, LLP. Neil started his career as an attorney for Exxon Company USA, upon graduation
from law school.
He attended Emory University in Atlanta Georgia from 1977-1981 and graduated in top 10%. Attended State University of New York School of
Law and Business from 1981-1983 and simultaneously obtained a Law degree and Masters of Business Administration graduating with Honors.
Angela Hanley has 11+ years of experience in the Texas electricity and natural gas markets. Angela is responsible for all operational and day to day activities of
the Company as well as sales and marketing efforts. She has served as a Vice President of Operations and Marketing for the Company’s subsidiary, Summer Energy, LLC,
since April 2011 where she helped launch Summer Energy, LLC’s initial marketing efforts and assisted with operations. From January 2009 until she joined Summer Energy, LLC,
Angela was the Regional Marketing Manager for Atmos Energy Marketing, one of the country’s largest natural-gas-only distributors selling natural gas supply and services to
industrial and commercial customers in Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky and Texas. From October 2007 through December 2008, she served as President, Operations for Horizon Power & Light, LLC,
a retail electric provider in the Northeast. Since 2002 she has held various marketing positions for other retail electric providers in Texas including Business Development Manager,
Marketing Manager, and Director of Sales. Angela has a Bachelor of Science degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. She is also a member of the Women’s Energy Network.
Jaleea P. George
Chief Financial Officer
Jaleea George manages all financial operations of the company. Jaleea previously served as CFO for Horizon Power and Light, LLC,
bringing with her more than twenty-five years of accounting experience. Jaleea was responsible for all aspects of the internal,
external, and compliance reporting of Horizon Power and Light, LLC as well as serving as head of human resources. Jaleea has
extensive accounting, taxation and administration experience. Jaleea has served in various financial positions that encompassed
a diverse range of industry experience, including a 9,600 mile pipeline company covering several states, an international manufacturing
company with operations in thirty-two countries, and a project developer of a 50 megawatt wood-waste biomass fired electricity
generations facility. Prior to joining Horizon Power and Light, LLC, Jaleea served as the Director of Finance of a major not-for-profit
organization. Jaleea graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in accounting and is certified by the Texas State Board
of Public Accountancy. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Texas Society of CPA’s (TSCPA)
and the Houston Chapter of TSCPA.
President, Supply Management
Rod Danielson is responsible for risk management, wholesale power purchase, customer load forecasting, balancing, settlement, and
scheduling functions for the Company. Rod previously served as President, Supply for Horizon Power and Light, LLC, where he managed
the same functions in the Maryland, District of Columbia, and Delaware markets; and for REP Energy LLC, where he managed those functions
in the Massachusetts market. Prior to that, Rod served as Vice President, Chief Supply Officer of Gexa Energy, where he managed the same
functions in the Texas, Massachusetts and New York markets. Rod was responsible for a power supply portfolio in excess of 1,000 MW’s
for Gexa, which became a subsidiary of Florida Power and Light in 2005. Additionally, he served on Gexa’s Management Committee,
overseeing operational issues ranging from customer service to retail transactions. Rod has been a voting member on the
ERCOT Wholesale Market Sub-committee, which oversees wholesale supply issues, nodal transition, and various other operational matters
for the ERCOT market. Prior to Gexa, Rod managed load forecasting functions in various retail markets for Enron Energy Services.
Rod has a BS in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of Houston.
